CMF Buds Neo Launched in India at ₹1,999 With 35dB ANC and Up to 52 Hours of Battery Life

CMF by Nothing has officially launched the CMF Buds Neo in India, bringing active noise cancellation, large 12.4mm drivers and long battery life to the budget TWS segment. Priced at an introductory ₹1,999, the new earbuds are aimed at users who want modern audio features without spending too much.

The CMF Buds Neo will go on sale in India from August 26 through Flipkart and select retail partners, including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.

CMF Buds Neo Price and Availability in India

The CMF Buds Neo carries an exclusive launch price of ₹1,999 in India. The earbuds will be available in Black, White and Dark Blue colour options.

The combination of a sub-₹2,000 price tag and features such as ANC, dual-device connectivity and spatial audio makes the Buds Neo an interesting addition to the highly competitive budget TWS market.

35dB Active Noise Cancellation

One of the biggest highlights of the CMF Buds Neo is its up to 35dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The feature is designed to reduce surrounding sounds and provide a more immersive listening experience, particularly in noisy environments.

For a product priced below ₹2,000, the inclusion of ANC makes the Buds Neo particularly attractive to students, commuters and users looking for affordable everyday earbuds.

12.4mm Dynamic Drivers

The earbuds feature 12.4mm dynamic drivers with titanium-coated PET domes and PEEK + PU surrounds. CMF is also offering multiple EQ presets and customisation options through the Nothing X app.

Users can choose from different sound profiles and create a custom EQ setting depending on their listening preferences. The earbuds also support static spatial audio for a wider soundstage.

Up to 52 Hours of Battery Life

Battery life is another major selling point of the CMF Buds Neo. CMF claims up to 52 hours of total playback with the charging case when ANC is switched off.

With ANC enabled, the claimed total playback time drops to up to 30 hours. The earbuds themselves can provide up to 11 hours of playback without ANC, while a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 5.5 hours of playback with ANC turned off.

This distinction is important because the headline 52-hour figure applies with ANC disabled.

Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual-Device Connectivity

The CMF Buds Neo also come with Bluetooth 6.0, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. Users can connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously, making it easier to switch between a smartphone and laptop, for example.

For gamers, the earbuds include a 120ms low-latency gaming mode, designed to reduce the delay between audio and on-screen action.

Four Microphones and Voice Features

The Buds Neo feature a four-microphone setup with CMF’s Clear Voice Technology. This is intended to improve voice pickup during phone calls and help make conversations clearer in noisy surroundings.

The earbuds can also be customised through the Nothing X app, including touch controls and audio settings.

Design and Durability

CMF has continued its distinctive design approach with the Buds Neo. The charging case features a square shape and a tactile circular dial, while the case also includes a lanyard hole.

The earbuds are available in three colour options and are designed for everyday use. The Buds Neo also carry IP55 protection for the earbuds, while the charging case has a separate water-resistance rating.

Should You Buy the CMF Buds Neo?

At ₹1,999, the CMF Buds Neo brings several features that are usually associated with more expensive wireless earbuds. The combination of 35dB ANC, 12.4mm drivers, Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device connectivity and up to 52 hours of claimed battery life makes it a strong option for buyers shopping in the sub-₹2,000 category.

However, buyers should remember that specifications alone do not guarantee sound quality or noise-cancellation performance. The 52-hour battery claim also applies with ANC turned off, while battery life is lower when ANC is enabled.

Overall, the CMF Buds Neo looks like a feature-packed budget TWS option, particularly for users who prioritise ANC, battery life and everyday convenience at an affordable price.
